Fall is here but we ended the season well with the 2nd Street Festival.  This festival is celebrated in the historic black community of Jackson Ward in the heart of downtown Richmond, VA.  I love 2 Street festival because it showcases black culture and its influence throughout Richmond in food, music, clothing and art!

Sir James Thornhill leads a collaboration with more beautiful RVA murals in Jackson Ward.  Check out the work of all 5 artists set to be completed in October!

Many restaurants setup tents and food trucks to serve up small plates for festival goers.

I’m looking forward to the opening of Jackson’s Beer Garden located in the old Croaker’s Spot location.  They are set to open late October/early November!
